You are correct, you get the 6ghz band that can be used for more speed or a duplex connection. So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. Not as good of course, but a lot better than otherwise. You only need a 2.5gig+ switch to take advantage of WiFi 6e speeds, you will get the benefits of the 6ghz band regardless. There is zero config needed for the cameras. Just plug in and click adopt in the Unifi app. Sure there are better cameras and you can use open source software to run your NVR.
